Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre has been the catalyst of many changes in the funeral business, both in and around Brantford, and also in Ontario, Canada and North America.  We have been recognised as the first funeral home to offer on-site catered receptions and the first funeral home to offer a Memorial Forest Program.  Our family business has been emulated not only in Brantford in these programs, but also in many other parts of the world.  Most funeral homes now offer receptions on-site, and many have adopted versions of our memorial forest, although none of these can say that they were the first. 

In the spirit of maintaining our unparallelled level of service to the public, we provide an annual dedication service for Memorial Forest at Brant Park (Brant Conservation Area), and an annual Christmas "Candles of Love" Candle Lighting Service.  We also hold regular seminars featuring various speakers who provide helpful information such as "Protecting Seniors from Fraud", "The Importance of Prearranging Your Funeral" and "Estate Management Advice".
