Condolence: Deepest condolences from all of us at the Brantford Chess Club.

Al was a great and positive influence at the chess club over the past 40 or 50 years. His name has been etched on the Championship trophy 13 times over 4 decades.
He was always a gentlemen, with a ready smile and a quick wit. He will be greatly missed.
We would like to memorialize his name, along with another of our champions, Helmut Tanz and rename the yearly club championship trophy the "Napierala-Tanz Cup".

Condolence: Al, you will be missed by many. Your golfing buddies at Northridge, your good friends from work and those who have known you, Helen and Al jr. for many years and proudly called you, "friend", now think of you fondly.
I will always remember Al's socks hiked over his pants as he played the course. A very good golfer, Al, always displayed the true traits of a gemtleman.
