YOUNG, Betty Loretta (nee Alonzo) - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, May 12, 2014 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Young. Loving mother of Jim Nall, and Patti Farrow (Jerry Marr). Devoted grandmother of Matthew (Jess), Katelyn (Jamie), her step-grandchildren Devin (Jess), and Travis, and her precious great-grandson Adrian. She is survived by her brother Fred (Chris) Alonzo. She will also be fondly remembered by her aunt Pat Alemany, nephew Greg (Cathy) Alonzo, niece Tammy (Kelly) Alonzo, sister-in-law Gloria Alonzo and many other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private service was held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. Many thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at both the St. Joseph's Hospital, in Hamilton and the Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
