NEIL, Vera Lavina (nee Huffman) - Peacefully with her family by her side, Vera passed away on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014, at the Stedman Community Hospice in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Neil for over 48 years. Much loved mother of Donna Marie (Carl) Fearn. Loving grandmother of Deborah (Mike) Jackson, Cheryl (David) Coates and Brenda (Warren) Westbrook. Great-grandmother of Christopher, Heather, Andrea, Stephen, Jamie, Nicole, Brandon and Courtney and great-great-grandmother of Lorelai. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Special thanks to the PSW's, the VON Nurses and especially to Emma for all her care and support. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Sunday, July 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Vera in the Beckett Glaves Memorial Forest.
