Leendertse, Robert - Passed peacefully at home, on Monday, July 21st, 2014 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Fran. Loving father of Erica (Sean) Leendertse Smith, Heather (Shawn) Henderson, Jolene (Peter) Gianakas, Jason (Janice) Brinson, Jeff (Sarah) Brinson, and Paul (Alisha) Zylstra. Devoted grandfather of Matthew, Vasili, Claire, Violet, Jamie, Harrison, Zoey, and Vivienne. He is survived by his mother Gertrude (the late Gerard), his brothers and sisters John (Jana), Ken (Kathy), and Margaret-Anne (John). He will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Carrie, and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and also by his faithful companion - his dog Misha. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel Wyndfield Community Church, 33 Diana Ave. on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Wyndfield Church, or the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
