HEELS, Alan Francis Gordon - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, September 1, 2014 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Heels (1992). Loving step-father of Moryn (Shirish) Shah, Lynfa (Christopher) Jenkins, Meryl (Robert) Penman. Longtime friend of Jerry (Barb) Draper and Orma Clarke. Alan was an avid aquarium hobbyist and gardener. Special thanks to the Pallative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital for the care and support. At Alan's request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Queensway Baptist Church, September 10th, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 519-752-4331. Donations to the SPCA would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Alan in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
