THOMSON, Isabel Rosa - Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Thomson (1988). Special friend of Jarvis Budd. Loving mother of Christine and her husband Axel Buettgen, Linda and her husband Ed Sharp, Lorraine and her husband Azim Hasmani, Gregory and his wife Fiona. Caring grandmother of Alexis (Trevor), Brent, Justin, Melanie (Alex), Karim, Salima, Stephanie, Christina (Chris). Great grandmother of Aries and Emily. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Julia and sister-in-law of Georgina. Predeceased by sisters Mary and Helen, brothers Steve and Cole. Isabel was a longtime employee of Sonoco Products and an active member of Bethel Park Bible Chapel. She was a devoted mother and friend to all. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Isabel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
