IVORY, Ruth "Ruthie" (nee McCaig) - With great strength and courage, Ruth passed away on Saturday, November 29th, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital, Hamilton, in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Janet Myers. Much loved mother of Lisa (Johnny Armstrong) Ivory, Nicole (Jay Smith) Ivory, Jason Myers and Sheryl (Gary) Myers. Dear grandmother of Brodie and Kolton. Dear sister of Louise, Helen, Claire, Robin and Jeannie and sister-in-law of Linda and Debbie. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Ruth was a long time employee of Kelly Services; she worked as a Staffing Consultant from 1993-2004. Ruth was very proud of the work she did with Kelly Services, she loved helping people and getting to know them. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, December 4th, from 12-2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Chron's and Colitis Canada would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ruth in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
