DAVIES, Margaret Elizabeth "Mardie" - Passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 21st, 2014 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Graham Davies (1981). Loving mother of David, Megan (Lee) Mayer, and Tom (Heidi). Devoted grandmother of Shane, Katie, and Daniel Mayer, and Kian and Bailee Shortt. Survived by her brother Fred (Mary) Palfrey. Predeceased by her parents George and Katharine Palfrey, and her sister Mary. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family members and friends. Mardie was a previous member of the Cornwall University Women's Group, and a local weaving and spinning group. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. Funeral Service arrangements are being completed in Cornwall Ontario. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mardie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
