OWENS, Frederick "Freddie" - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25th, 2010, in his 66th year. Husband to Catherine McHugh for 24 years. Loving father of Claire (Dale), Stephen (Diane), Joanne (Carmen), and Margaret (David). Doting "Papa" to Jessica, Meghan, Daniella, Connor, Braeden, Makenna, Jacob and Hayden. Survived by his brother Patrick and his sister Kathleen. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Hannah. He will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Monday, March 29th, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of "Freddie" in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
