UPTON, John Frederick - Passed away peacefully at Versa Care Long Term Care on Thursday, April 15th, 2010 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Rennie (nee: Fellows). Loving father of David and his wife Stacey, Dennis and his wife Connie. Dear "Papa" of John David and step-grandfather of Missy. Predeceased by his sons James and Robert. John was a veteran of World War II and was involved in the Italian Campaign. He retired from Sonoco Products in 1987. At John's request there is no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory John in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
